kourier > [NEWS] KARA to Make a Stop in Singapore For the Official Launch of K5J!
Kamilias! KARA has officially announced the launch of their first signature fragrance, and the girls will make a stop in Singapore on the 1oth of July to share their joy!
Having made a name for themselves in home-ground Korea, as well as selling more than 1.18 million albums in Japan, KARA has steadily risen to become one of the most influential K-pop groups and fashion icons today. With recent chart topping hits such as “Super Girl” and “Step”, KARA has established itself as a powerhouse group in Asian entertainment as well as a role model for fans across the globe.
“We’ve been working for a long time developing K5J and we’re so excited that our signature fragrance can now be a reality,” said Gyuri, Seungyeon, Hara, Nicole and Jiyoung in a combined statement. “We want our fragrance to be truly special, and so we’ve created K5J to bring us even closer to our fans. We couldn’t have achieved this historic milestone without you. Thank you all for your love and continued support.”
K5J, short for “Kara 5 Jewel”, was created in Paris in partnership with 3CY, a premium Asian lifestyle brand. “The natural beauty and enthusiasm that radiates from each member makes KARA a perfect choice for us. We are excited to build on and continue our relationship with DSP Media going forward,” declared a representative of 3CY.
K5J is available now for international pre-order at www.kara5jewel.com. K5J will debut exclusively at selected retail stores and outlets from 14 April 2012 in Japan. Distribution in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand will be scheduled over the summer of 2012.
Kamilias can look forward to meeting KARA in Singapore in the form of a K5J showcase performance, to be managed and organised by Mediacorp Vizpro International Pte Ltd (“Vizpro”) in partnership with Three Cups Yard LLP. This long-awaited appearance is slated for 10 July 2012. Details of the showcase will be released by Vizpro in due course. Watch this space!
