Fast fact: Did you know that B2ST had racked up a total of six visits to our sunny island? (Yes, we dug up archives to be absolutely sure!) That equates a top tally which also makes the boys one of Singapore’s favourite groups of all time. Most recently in town for the Mnet Asian Music Awards, where Hyunseung and label mate HyunA caused some trouble on stage, the beastly namjas were back for a four-day visit. This included a day devoted to their Singapore Beauties, a one-night performance of their Asia Tour Concert. For their 6th and most recent visit, the guys were welcomed at their Beautiful Show Press Conference. All six of them entered looking comfy and in high spirits.Kicking off things based on the times they’ve visited, the boys were asked what they found most memorable about Singapore. To that, Doojoon responded that despite Singapore’s small size, he’s been touched by the fan support given to B2ST.

What about the individual charm that each member possesses? Kikwang picked maknae Dongwoon for his boyish good looks and for being the best visual representation of the group. He also pointed out Yoseob, who has “a cuteness that no one can resist”. Hearing Kikwang’s cue, praises went around with Dongwoon commending Kikwang for having a perfectly toned body, while Yoseob affirmed that his irresistible cuteness is in fact real and true. He continued by thanking people for acknowledging it as his charm.

B2ST was then asked if they’d met any particularly memorable fans. Dongwoon decided that they wouldn’t single out any, explaining that they’ve received the same love and support from all Beauties. They try their best to remember each and every one, and to them, the most beautiful scene that could be realised would be an enthusiastic showing at “Beautiful Show Singapore”. Awww?

With regard to the most difficult performance they’ve had to master, Junhyung states that every performance is a challenge. To pick one would be a task itself; no matter what performance it is, they’ve given their best and will continue to do so.

For all the men in audience, this next segment was probably meant for them. B2ST was at the ready to share tips on maintaining those sculpted physiques. First up, Yoseob. Explaining that their busy schedules make regular work-outs difficult to set time aside for, they maintain a stringent regime of a) eating on time, b) resting enough, and c) sleeping on time. We’re sure journalists in general can take a hint from the guys!

Following on from this was something that took many of us by surprise — Dongwoon speaking in Chinese! Sure, we know their years of rigourous training include tons of exercises that sometimes include overseas attachments in perfecting a foreign language but prior to the day, we hadn’t caught wind of any this from B2ST, let alone from their maknae. And by golly, his fluency seemed even better than yours truly *dips head*. Turns out, he actually took the language as part of his major in University. Despite confessing that he’d forgotten most of what he’d learnt from his 老师, Dongwoon confidently added that he and his members would be ready to tackle songs in any language if the fans so wanted them to.

To wrap up the press event, Kikwang stated that this solo concert had been a long time coming for Singapore Beauties. He ended off with the hope that the fans would enjoy themselves at “Beautiful Show”. Dongwoon added that although a year had gone past since their last fan meeting, they were all very happy and honoured to be back for their first ever full-fledged concert. New songs would be added to a full roster of B2ST hits and the boys hoped that fans would be entertained.
