As promised at the end of our last article, kourier‘s taking you on a ride of the tour that was B2ST‘s “Beautiful Show”. This made for our second outing to a Beast event, our first one being to their Asia Fanmeet Tour. We definitely shared the elation from Beauties all around — it’s a rather amazing feat for an idol group, only four years into their career, to be making as many as six trips to see their fans. Without further ado, here we go~

Ushered into the pit at about a quarter to 7, we could already feel The Max Pavilion brimming with excitement and energy. Possibly gearing up for the intense fan-chanting to be done, B2uties could be heard chanting in unison, some even letting out anxious screams as they tried to contain their anticipation. Finally, as the lights were dimmed, an intro video came on and it’s as if the volume controls were turned up because the fan roars came exploding forth. PS: Just to reassure you B2uties, your dedication and love was definitely felt, and heard by the boys.

The concert began with consecutive fast numbers to get the fans pumped up, starting with ‘Special’, an all-time favourite starter for several of B2ST’s concerts and fan meetings. It was then followed by performances for ‘Breathe’ and ‘Shock’, and after which the members spent some time interacting with the fans. The boys proceeded to entertain the audience with their own solos.

When Beast gives back to their fans, they really give their all — albeit just one. The lucky B2uty in question got picked out from the audience to join the guys on stage for one entire song. They serenaded her individually, with teddy bear, flowers and other gifts in tow. Some members even brought out a bicycle, which made for a sweet yet fun dedication to the lucky lady. Oh, the envy we could feel emanating from onlooking B2uties.

Apart from the glitzy stage and impressive lights show that made up the entire concert, we were pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming fan support given by B2ST’s B2uties, and the fan service showered on them in return. It was almost as if a love affair was playing before our eyes. As corny as that might sound, you’d be with us if you’d been there to witness the mushy exchanges lobbed back and forth between the stars and their audience.

The show concluded with an encore stage of “Beautiful” and “VIU” — the boys went to all corners of stage to give their final goodbyes. And thus marked the end of a very successful leg of B2ST’s “Beautiful Show” tour.
