kourier > [NEWS] Super Junior’s Super Show 4 to hit Singapore in February 2012!
Internationally renowned Super Junior, a group that has had a huge hand in keeping the global Korean Wave bouyant, recently launched their latest concert tour, Super Junior World Tour, Super Show 4, in Seoul, Korea. In attendance at the official press conference (for their shows on 19th and 20th November 2011) were our friends from Running Into The Sun, and they are happy to announce that they will be making a highly-awaited SS4 Singapore leg happen on 17 February 2012.
“We’ve witnessed the massive appeal of Super Junior when they were here for Super Show 3 earlier this year; and how it broke all boundaries to attract fans across all age groups and demographics,” said Beatrice Chia-Richmond, Creative Director of Running Into The Sun. “Running Into The Sun aims to bring acts that break new ground and challenge our creativity, so we’re more than thrilled to have confirmed Super Show 4 in Singapore.”
Super Junior World Tour, Super Show 4, is expected to entertain Singaporeans with nothing but the best from Korea’s leading K-pop band. When asked at the press conference, about what Singapore fans had to forward to in SS4, leader of the group, Leeteuk, said that he remembered the warm hospitality of Singapore ELFs. He’s thrilled to be able to meet the fans again at Super Show 4, on a stage – more dynamic and on the biggest-scale yet – that is set to bring him and his members even closer to their Everlasting Friends.
Their Seoul concerts held this past weekend marked the start of a new round of tours which will take them around the world. Super Junior presented their trademark sleekness, cheeky performances and a lot more, melded together in two showy sessions for ELFs. The massive, lingering appeal of SM’s biggest boy band saw updates trending worldwide on Twitter throughout the duration of their concerts; and among the top 10 trending topics, 7 of them were related to Super Junior.
Concert organiser Running Into The Sun brought Super Junior to Singapore in January 2011 for Super Show 3. A single night performance was originally planned for Singapore but an overwhelming response led to an extension. In total, the boys wowed more than 10,000 concert-goers over both sold-out nights. Super Show 3 was also held in 12 other Asian cities, with every concert fully sold out.
